Returning Referees

The EDJBA are calling for expressions of interest of former referees who would like to return to refereeing, even on a temporary basis.

Referee numbers have been impacted by the Covid-19 situation, and many clubs have indicated they are expecting a shortage of referees as we resume on November 13 and beyond.

To assist clubs with replenishing referee numbers, the EDJBA is running a number of referee refresher courses. The courses are free of charge and will be 2 hours in length and will include Q&A. The EDJBA is also looking at other incentives to encourage referees to return.
