The EDJBA will be operating under COVID Safe

Spectator Limits

As per Government and Basketball Victoria advice, spectator limits will be increased to allow for four spectators per player.

Masks 

Masks are still recommended for all patrons aged 12 years or older, when social distancing cannot be maintained, unless medically exempt.

 

Below is a summary of the COVID-SAFE restrictions enforced:

Court/Referee Supervisors/BSO BSO not required but is recommended

Participant Departure Time Teams encouraged to depart court immediately after their game
Referees Unrestricted
Scorers Unrestricted
Shaking Hands/High Fives Avoid where possible
Spectators Venue capacity of 1 person per 2m2 applies, subject to Venue Capacity Limits.

This equates for four spectators per player.
