The Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association (EDJBA) is excited to announce the final clinician in the EDJBA Community Coaches Project – the man who started it all 12 months earlier, none other than Melbourne United Head Coach – Dean Vickerman.

The clinic will take place at Montmorency Secondary College on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7.00pm – 8.30pm.

Dean is a three time NBL Championship Winning Coach, winning once with the New Zealand Breakers and twice with Melbourne United. Dean has been awarded the NBL Coach of the Year award three times and in 2023 and 2024 Dean was selected as Head Coach of the Australian Boomers team during the FIBA qualifying windows.

The topic of the clinic will be ‘Beating Zones and Presses’.

This clinic is possible due to the North East Link Community Fund.

The clinic is free of charge, but due to size constraints, coaches will need to register. Please note this clinic will be capped. To register please head to: https://tinyurl.com/Vickerman2025.

This clinic is the tenth and final clinic as part of the Community Coaches Project. The Community Coaches Project has seen over 1800 registrations across the previous nine clinics.
